TISBURY, MASS. (WHDH) - Some Martha’s Vineyard beaches have been shut down after swimmers reported struggling to get back to shore.
West Tisbury police say first responders rescued multiple swimmers last week, one of whom was taken to the hospital.
No additional information was provided but officials say the beaches were shut down amid a tragic situation.
